The Arensbergs in Hollywood, Part 1
In December 2020, we were honored to deliver the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Arcadia Library Lecture, part one of “The Arensbergs in Hollywood,” a two-part series co-presented by the Getty Research Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The presentation was moderated by Matthew Affron, The Muriel and Philip Berman Curator of Modern Art at the PMA, and introduced by Kristen Regina, Arcadia Director of the Museum’s Library and Archives.
The Arensbergs in Hollywood, Part 2
In March 2021, we were honored to present “Hollywood Arensberg: Arriving at the House” at the Getty Research Institute. This presentation was part two of “The Arensbergs in Hollywood,” a two-part series co-presented by the Getty Research Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Our presentation was moderated by Mary Miller, Director of the GRI, and featured three short films made for us by Jonathan Browning and Marco Heithaus. Browing and Heithaus renovated the Arensberg house with a careful eye towards its architectural and cultural significance after purchasing it in 2016.
